NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) has been a mess since she returned. One bad choice after another has basically alienated her from the family. Now, the way it’s being written, it almost looks like Sami is just reacting out of hurt without thinking much. However, we don’t really buy it at all. Here’s how we see it, and what needs to happen.
NBC ‘Days of Our Live’ Spoilers: Wrecking ball
Since she returned, Sami’s been described as Hurricane Sami among other things. Basically? She’s a wrecking ball that brings chaos wherever she goes. It seems like people mostly resigned themselves to her dramatic ways, but her recent actions changed a lot of that.
First, the custody suit has caused one issue after another. She had harsh exchanges with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) twice. Plus, there were a couple of Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) lectures, and Belle Black (Marth Madison) was furious over Jan Spears’ (Heather Lindell) return. That will get even worse now that Jan came to the house and chatted up Claire Brady (Isabel Durant).
Also, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) just came back, obviously because of the results of the court case. Despite many confrontations and outright begging to respect Allie’s choices, Sami refuses. She’s done nothing but damage her relationship with Allie, as well as her bond with her twin, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).
NBC ‘Days of Our Live’ Spoilers: Going too far
One might argue she crossed the final, unforgiveable line when she brought back Jan. You know, the woman who tried to kill Belle and caused a lot of harm to her family. It was a selfish, horrible decision that we might believe an act of desperation.
We’re to believe Sami’s hurt over Allie’s slights made her desperate to keep the closest thing she has to her daughter—her grandson. They almost portray her as a wounded animal, acting without thought to real or perceived attacks. We don’t buy it at all.

We believe Sami knows exactly what she’s doing. See, there’s only one goal in Sami’s mind. She wants her daughter raising that baby. And she wants to be the one to help.
We think Sami purposefully defied Allie’s wishes because it’s the only way she has of getting Allie to be anywhere near her. To her, almost anything is fair game when it comes to doing what she feels is the best thing. And it’s all about what she wants.
John seemed to back that up. Following his medical scare, he’s having sudden outbursts. One of those was set off when Sami came in to “apologize” for what she did. He basically called her out for the selfish person she is and essentially said she’s made a habit out of acting thoughtlessly and “apologizing” only to not really be sorry at all.
Because she doesn’t change her ways. Now, he didn’t say all those exact words, but it was the gist of things. And he did express regret later over what he said. However, we think his current state allowed him to speak the full truth, unfiltered. And Sami knows it. Will anything make her grow up and change her behavior? We’ll have to wait and see.
