The public is outraged after a woman in Montana proudly displayed the carcass of a dog that she had killed and skinned while mistaking it for a baby wolf. Her kill was recently announced on Facebook by Amber Rose (not the famous one), who posted a series of graphic images of the dead dog before and after it was turned into a fur rug and placed in the bed of her pickup truck.

The horrifying killing occurred in Flathead County, Montana, and the sheriff’s office, animal control, and fish and game departments all confirm to us that they are aware of it and that ongoing investigations have been started.

No information has been released regarding Rose’s potential legal or criminal consequences, but it is obvious that the community is already outraged and demands that she pay. A number of Facebook users claim they have complained and asked that she be held accountable. Most people agree that she should have known that this was someone’s Siberian husky and NOT a wolf. Rose insists that she was in the right in this situation while defending herself against all the criticism.

She responded to everyone on social media claiming she did not break any laws and she believed it to be a hybrid. Rose wrote, “To all! A lot of things in your articles and posts are not true what’s so ever! I purchased my wolf tag prior to leaving for a bear hunt in the event I ran into a wolf in which I came to en encounter with what I thought could be a bybrid during this time my safety was top priority this animal was growling howling and coming at me like it was going to eat me.”

She continued to say “I am human did I make a mistake thinking it was hybrid wold pup however there are no charges are against me as I did NOT break any laws!!! I’m not a cruel individual just put killing people pets!”

While her run-on sentences and grammar are hard to understand, what’s even harder to understand is how she skinned the entire thing still believing it to be a hybrid. It seems incredibly bizarre.

What do you think? Should there be charges pressed against her or was she just defending herself? Let us know in the comments below.
