Well this certainly is different, isn’t it? There’s a new report that says Meghan Markle has introduced her family to a new age alternative healing technique called Reiki. It’s a Japanese energy healing discipline in an attempt “to help them feel more balanced and relaxed.”
And apparently the entire family is doing it, from Meghan and Harry to Archie and the dogs. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, Meghan has been introducing Harry to to the process of “ancestral healing” to help deal with “generations of genetic baggage.”

For those not in the know, ‘Ancestral healing’ is based on the premise that unhealed family legacies and traumas are nestled within each of us, and it takes active work and therapy to free ourselves of generational trauma.
One source close to the situation told the Daily Mail, “Meghan said both she and Harry come from a long lineage of pain and suffering, [with] generations of genetic baggage, and that it’s now up to them to break the cycle once and for all.”
This comes after Prince Harry seemingly threw Prince Charles under the bus yet again for his lack of good parenting skills. In his new mental health series, The Me You Can’t See, on Apple Plus, the Duke of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey that his father made him “suffer” as a child.
Harry said, “My father used to say to me when I was younger … ‘Well, it was like that for me, so it’s going to be like that for you. That doesn’t make sense — just because you suffered that doesn’t mean that your kids have to suffer, in fact quite the opposite. If you suffered, do everything you can to make sure that whatever negative experiences that you had you can make it right for your kids.”
What’s more, Prince Charles is fuming mad but not mad enough to want to cut his son out of his life. The tipster added, “Charles will want to engage, but it’s fair to say what Harry has said in both interviews with Oprah has been seen as very callous within the family. If Harry was to attack the Queen in a more personal way, Charles would close ranks with the Queen without a doubt and Harry would be out in the cold,” the source said.
