The stars of ‘Married at First Sight’ Steve Moy and Noi Phommasak have broken up just a month since the conclusion of the show.

The relationship was dogged by issues from the start. During their time on the reality TV show, Noi did not hide her reservations about moving in with Steve on the basis that she was not convinced he could support her.
This was on the grounds she had reservations about his unemployment. And 3 weeks within the marriage, Steve did not hide the fact that he was having to navigate very serious challenges. With that being said, the divorce was hardly a surprise.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Noi shared a picture of herself at the beach as she sat on a surfboard. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Divorce feels good.”
In contrast, Steve had a rather different take on the matter. He expanded on how he hoped that they would be able to work out their issues. But now that it is clear that this is not going to be the case, he did have a lot of regrets.
And yet, he recognised that they had too many differences that simply could not be resolved. In an official statement, Steve stated: “I am under the belief that our relationship is unsustainable in its current form, and after many attempts, I don’t believe we can get it to the point where it is functioning.”
The fans on social media were far from sympathetic, however. A certain subset of people did not hold back on how the pair were never compatible from the outset. One person wrote: “Honestly. Most of us have been waiting for this. We saw that you [Steve] were way more into it than she was.”
