Chrissy Teigen recently shared her story over twitter and instagram, about the loss of her child with husband John Legend. A lot of people said that they hated the photos and came down on her for sharing them, but Chrissy said in a statement recently, “I cannot express how little I care that you hate the photos. How little I care that it’s something you wouldn’t have done.
I lived it. I chose to do it, and more than anything these photos aren’t for anyone but for those who have lived this… These photos are only for the people who need them. The thoughts of others do not matter to me.”

Suffering a miscarriage is something that most women do not talk about, even to this day, even in 2020. In fact there are some states that will actually imprison a woman simply for having a miscarriage! So yes, while Chrissy got some backlash, she also got a lot of women saying that now that she has talked about it, they feel more comfortable talking about their own miscarraige experiences.
The statistics show that 20% of pregancies end in miscarriage, most often before the woman even knows that she’s pregnant. The only difference with Chrissy, is that her pregnancy was known about, and that they tried everything they could medically do to save her child – and it still didn’t work.
Chissy has been posting a lot of family-related things on instagram lately, and it’s been absolutely heart-warming, hugs with her kids, cuddling her Mom, and if you’re worried about how her relationship with John is doing, there’s no need, she’s posted plenty of kisses between them on her IG page too.
John has said in interviews that the healing process has really brought their family closer together and that he has fallen even more in love with Chrissy during this time. If that isn’t the sweetest thing to say, I don’t know what is!
Sometimes couples break up over the loss of a child, so it’s refreshing to hear that John and Chrissy are still going strong. Proof that sometimes, love can conquer all, something that we all need this year in 2020. Stay tuned!!!
