On the third season of Love is Blind, we were introduced to Cole Barnett. He connected with a woman named Zanab Jaffrey and they really did seem to love each other. They had a lot of fights and they both said things to one another that they did regret. When it finally came time to get married, they made it to the altar and that is when she told him that she could not marry him.

On the reunion episode, things got really bad for Cole. Zanab told the cameras that he was constantly talking about her weight and what she was eating. He was often seen criticizing her, but she also would do the same with him. There were a lot of fans who were divided on this relationship and it all got tense when they were on the reunion episode.

Cole got very upset and there were points in the show where he was in tears. He felt very bad for his actions and when all of the female cast members started slamming, you just couldn’t help but try to see both sides of this story.
Cole hadn’t been very vocal about his feelings until it was too late. The show is now over and he has finally started to open up to his friends and fans about how he is feeling now and what therapy did for him after the show.
He recently shared a post on his Instagram account catching his fans up with what has been going on in his life. He told them, “I’ve been flipping houses, representing buyers, and working on starting a podcast! Oh, and some much-needed therapy. The best thing I’ve gotten from therapy so far is honestly just how helpful it is to talk about the things that have impacted you or were traumatizing.”
Cole added, “Sometimes as a guy you just don’t ever talk about emotions and feelings, you never do, and so just sitting with someone and talking about those things in and of itself is freeing and liberating.” Fans were quick to jump in and tell them how they felt.
One told him, “The fact that Zanab gaslighted the situation. She should have just said she doesn’t want this, why lie?” Another added, “I honestly think you are probably one of the most authentic people on the show. You have Golden Retriever energy and you can see how hurt you were when she would put you down.”
