Former stars of the hit show, ‘Love at First Sight,’ Katina Goode and Olajuwon Dickerson have broken up.

The duo had initially come across each other as part of the 14th season. During the course of that process, they decided to walk down the aisle that year. But it soon became clear that things were not that rosy, as Dickerson did not view his lover too highly.
He had controversially branded his wife as ‘lazy.’ In addition, he was also very certain in what he wanted, that being, that his then wife should have cooked for him on a daily basis.
Despite overcoming those hurdles to go on to get married, it was not enough to keep them together. In a post on Instagram, the pair issued a joint statement confirming as much: “After one year of marriage and careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways.
“However, this was not an easy decision to make. We leave our marriage with enormous love and respect for each other. We only ask that, at this time, our privacy is respected.”
It is not clear what the exact reason for the break could be, but outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, it could have been due to the following reasons. First of all, once the cameras went away, there could be an argument that their relationship was simply not the same behind closed doors.
Secondly, since they did have issues from the outset, there is also the possibility that they were exacerbated with time. The fans on social media were shocked by this revelation. A certain subset felt that the pair had parted too early, as this was the last thing they expected.
One person wrote: “Not an Easy Decision’ #NewsBreak. WHAT???!!!!!” As long as the pair are happy, then who are we to question otherwise. And that is the most important thing to remember moving forward.
