Yes, you read that right. Lori Vallow Daybell is now claiming that she has an alibi in the murder of her two children, 16-year-old Ty Lee Ryan and 8-year-old JJ Daybell. She now claims, after all this time, that she was somewhere else when her children were murdered at her brother’s apartment.
In spite of never having said anything in the beginning and practically leading law enforcement on a wild goose chase looking for her children for months, the fact of the matter is she remained silent and instead vacationed with her then-new husband, Chad Daybell, in Hawaii and proceeded to keep mum about the entire thing.

She said that when her children were murdered at her brother’s apartment she was not present, but the thing is, her brother, whom she seems to be trying to pin this on, is no longer around to defend himself. He is dead as well, Alex Cox died of natural causes it seems but not before he took out Lori’s ex-husband Charles Vallow by shooting him.
It’s not too big of a jump for one to make to think that Alex could have possibly turned some kind of anger onto the kids, but a bigger question would be why? What reason would Alex have to turn on these children? He was just the Uncle, and while he was arguably in the same cult that Lori was, he wouldn’t have any reason to turn on the kids directly.

It was said previously by acquaintances that Lori was always preoccupied with money and how things looked, she made sure that everything looked perfect at least from the outside, even driving herself to her own mental evaluation. No, surprisingly she wasn’t taken away that day, they didn’t warrant her a threat to herself or to others at that point, clearly, they just hadn’t given her enough time or motivation in order to commit the crimes with.
Lori Vallow Daybell also stood to monetarily gain from her children’s passing as well considering she collected their government benefits for months following their passing. Lori Vallow Daybell clearly had the motivation to do the crime.
