Lori Loughlin’s husband Mossimo Giannulli is finally a free man. The fashion designer was released from a California prison over the weekend. He had been held in a federal lockup for his role in the college admissions bribery scandal which sent both him and his wife behind bars. Here’s what you need to know.

Mossimo was released Friday to community confinement, which means either home confinement or a halfway house. He is also now under supervised release administered by a Bureau of Prisons field office in San Pedro, California, according to the bureau’s records.

He was sentenced to five months in prison, ordered to serve two years of supervised release, perform 250 hours of community service and pay a $250,000 fine.

Mossimo Giannulli Is Finally A Free Man

As many fans know by now, both Mossimo and Lori Loughlin plead guilty last year to paying half a million dollars to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California.

Loughlin was released from a prison in Dublin in December after spending two months behind bars. They admitted paying the scheme’s mastermind, William “Rick” Singer, $500,000 to get their daughters accepted for admission to the University of Southern California.

It’s also been noted that Mossimo Giannulli is scheduled for full release on April 17.

Lori, meanwhile, was released in December after serving a two-month sentence for her role in the college admissions scam. Loughlin also must serve two years of supervised release, perform 100 hours of community service and pay a fine of $150,000.

So far Lori Loughlin herself has not made any comments about her husband’s release. We will update you with all of the latest details as they come in.
