Just a few months ago, Little People, Big World cast member, Matt Roloff made the announcement that he was selling part of the Roloff Farm. His sons, Zach Roloff and Jeremy Roloff both put in offers on it and they were denied by their father. He ended up listing it for $4 million and their mother, Amy Roloff let Matt know that he wasn’t doing the right thing by denying their sons.
She knew that they wanted the property to stay in the family, but it is clear that Matt is after more money. With the farm not selling as quickly as he wanted it to, Matt decided to turn it into an Airbnb and let renters get a taste of how fun the farm is. However, there are a lot of rules and stipulations for renters that have made Amy very upset.
Little People, Big World: Amy Shares Hate of Matt’s Rules
Amy never really wanted the property to be sold and was very upset when Matt made the announcement. Now that it is a short-term rental, she has been open about what she thinks will happen to it and how she hates the idea of a lot of strangers being there and not fully being able to enjoy every single bit of the farm. In the new season of the show, Matt told Amy about some of the rules for the rental.

He said, “I have to make a huge announcement. Family can reserve it for no cost. No, not even a discount. There might be a limit on how many weeks you can do, but I don’t think there is. We can block it out for family. We can have Jeremy and his family, Chris and Amy.” Amy comes back at him with, “You have got to be high to even be thinking of that.”
She went on to tell the cameras, “I can’t see any of my kids doing that. I would gamble my life on it, but it ain’t gonna be any of the four kids. I would be flabbergasted if any of them do it. You know, since Matt owns all of this property, I mean, good for him. He wasn’t able to sell it. And to turn it into a place like that, good for him. I definitely don’t blame him there. The thing I have a hard time with is on the more personal side. This hurt a lot on the personal end of it. It’s just a lot of memories that flood back.”
We will continue to keep an eye on Matt and Amy’s chat about the farm in hopes that they can come to an understanding.
