Lifetime ‘Married at First Sight’ (MAFS) spoilers finds that Season 10 has been chocked full of relationship drama. It appears that the reunion special will be a wild ride as well. In an exclusive clip posted online by People, Katie Conrad and Zach Justice disclose that they met up for drinks after filming, unbeknownst to the rest of the cast.

In the preview, host Kevin Frazier verbally corners Katie and Zach. He almost reveals which cast members from separate marriages toyed with the idea of getting together. But then, looking at Katie and Zach, he asks, “Do you guys wanna tell us?”
Katie opens up first. She says, “I got drinks with Zach. I think it was a couple weeks before Christmas kind of just to talk about this whole experience.” Katie’s husband Derek Sherman gives a wide-eyed, shocked expression upon hearing her statement. Zach, obviously uneasy about bringing up this topic, affirmed that he simply met with Katie to “talk about the show.”

Zach explained, “You know, you only have so many interactions with each other on camera, so that was a lot of catching up.” Mindy Shiben, Zach’s ex-wife, is seen looking down with a frowning expression. It seems this admission might have stirred up some bitter feelings for her. Cast member Taylor Dunklin (former wife to Brandon Reid) also appears surprised by this news. However, some fans aren’t all that jarred upon close analysis of each relationship.
Zach had commitment issues from the beginning of his marriage to Mindy. He did not want to move in with her and was accused of having conversations with Mindy’s best friend behind her back. The couple divorced two weeks before Decision Day. Though Zach and Mindy remain cordial enough to sit side-by-side, Mindy has recently claimed that Zach’s behavior caused her emotional distress while they were married.

On the other hand, Katie’s high standards, jealousy issues, and combative personality caused tension between her and Derek. Many fans feel Derek tried his best to please her, and he seemed to have a more positive outlook than Katie. Even on Decision Day, Katie said her heart was not “fully in it” but that she would keep trying.
