De Niro‘s grandson, actor Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, has died. According to police authorities, the 19-year-old was discovered dead in a chair inside a New York City apartment on Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, there were no evident indicators that led to his death. He was discovered by a buddy who hadn’t heard from him in a few days and wanted to check on him.
His mother, Drena De Niro, confirmed his death on Instagram late Sunday night.
“My beautiful sweet angel. I have loved you beyond words or description from the moment I felt you in my belly. You have been my joy my heart and all that was ever pure and real in my life. I wish I was with you right now. I wish I was with you. I don’t know how to live without you but I’ll try to go on and spread the love and light that you so made me feel in getting to be your mama.”

Leandro made an appearance in the 2018 film “A Star Is Born.” He plays the kid of Bradley Cooper’s best buddy, Dave Chappelle’s George “Noodles” Stone. Leandro had an appearance in “Cabaret Maxime” in 2018. Robert De Niro adopted Drena after marrying Diahnne Abbott in 1976.
Carlos Rodriguez, Leandro’s father, was an artist. Leandro was only 19 years old. According to law enforcement sources, The death of Leandro is being examined as an overdose. According to reports, the adolescent was housesitting, and narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered near his body.
According to a statement issued by Robert De Niro on Monday, “I’m deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo. We’re greatly appreciative of the condolences from everyone. We ask that we please be given privacy to grieve our loss of Leo.”
