Kelly LeBrock feels bad for her ex-husband Steve Seagal and has dubbed him a “Hollywood tragedy”. In an interview with Page Six, she said she “felt sorry for the man.”

“I think that he’s just a very sad person and he is what I would call a tragedy of Hollywood. I believe he was very bullied as a child, very sickly, very weak and I guess people who are treated that way as children end up becoming lost as they age.”

The two were married from 1987 to 1996 and share three children together. LeBrock was even in a film alongside her husband, “Hard to Kill” in 1990.

Seagal, who is now 69, was an overnight sensation and came into the film industry with knockout after knockout, including ‘Under Siege’, ‘Out for Justice’, ‘Hard to Kill’, and ‘Above the Law’. However, he quickly began to fade away and become a laughing stock of film. It also didn’t help that off the set he was being accused of sexual assault and 11 women, including actresses like Jenny McCarthy, had accused him of sexual misconduct.

Seagal now does straight to DVD films that look like knock-offs of student-made films and seems to have an inflated ego that leads him to be relentlessly mocked. From claiming involvement with Navy Seals and C.I.A to teaching UFC champion Anderson Silva “the” front kick that won him a fight over Vitor Belford, Seagal has continued to tell tall tales and it’s definitely taken its toll.

While there were whispers of a Hollywood comeback and a sequel to his acclaimed film ‘Above the Law’ in the works, it doesn’t look like he’ll be back anytime soon.
