Joe Rogan used to keep a book for his podcast guests around his office and it was Steven Pressfield’s ‘The War of Art’. He calls it his favorite motivational book and ‘cuts through the bullshit of procrastination’ along with giving people the tools needed to get going and create something.
“The War of Art” is my favorite motivational book. It cuts through the bullshit of procrastination and gives you the tools and the inspiration to get moving and to create. I used to keep a stack of them in the studio to hand out to guests.”
Rogan continued that he hadn’t picked it up in a while but decided to listen to it again,
“I haven’t picked it up in a while, and since I’m always looking for fuel to get more out of my life, I decided to grab the audio book. It’s as awesome and useful as I remember. I can’t recommend it enough.”

The author himself, Steven Pressfield even commented on the post saying, “Thanks for the long time support Joe!!” The audible book is available for just seven dollars on Audible and having started it myself, I would highly recommend it to anyone out there who is looking to create and beat procrastination.

Fans of Rogan responded, “Fantastic listen on a run or hike 👊🏻”, “It’s so good I didn’t finish it bc it made me feel guilty for reading and not writing”, “This book should be every creators bible”, “And you just sold 2 million copies for Steven. Lol”, “Yes! This is one of my bibles!“, “@steven_pressfield time to go on the podcast!!” and “@joerogan I read it 2 yrs ago, was good! I’ll have to re visit it… 👊🏻”
