That’s one statement we won’t argue with. In a recent interview with Daily Mail, Jamie Spears, father of Britney Spears and villain extrordinaire to the FreBritney movement, spoke out about what went on during the 13 year long conservatorship.
He said that without it, he was pretty sure that Britney would be dead. He claims that Britney was admitted to a psychiatric rehabilitation center against her will for “substance abuse” problems but considering we have seen how Britney has freaked out in IG posts over things like “contact highs” at shows,we kind of have trouble believing that.
Jamie Spears speaks out, “The family is a mess”
He says that Britney was broke when he took over but she certainly seems to have made up for it since then. Also, back in 2008 there was an economic slump anyway so that one may not have been entirely Britney’s fault, just saying.
It’s strange how a singer who was just about broke has no record of letting go of any of her team members during this time, including people that she may not have needed, like extra background dancers or makeup artists or hair people, everyone who was working for her was still getting paid and happy to be there. The only ones that were reported as leaving were her former business manager and Larry Rudolph, her talent manager but both left within the last couple of years, not when Britney was going through the struggle.
He says that he and Kevin raised the kids and that without his intervention Britney would have never gotten the kids back… we don’t know what universe he’s actually living in but Britney never actually got her kids back. Allegedly there was a 50/50 physical but not legal custody agreement between Kevin and Britney even though the kids ended up spending 70% of their time with Kevin, according to Britney.
Jamie says that he does miss “his boys” and that they were just getting to the age where you could “have fun with them” wholesome images of Grandpa-like things comes to mind but considering Britney previously said that Jamie was very hard on her older brother, Bryan, who was a football star not unlike a high school age Jamie, one wonders just what the relationship between them would have been.
There was also claims a few years back that one of Britney’s sons got into an altercation with Jamie and that was the reason that they don’t live in the same house anymore. Up until then, Jamie says that for 12 years they all lived together or at least that’s what he hinted at in the interview.
It looks like the relationship between he, Kevin, and the boys may be alright eventually, but says of Britney’s allegations that he is willing to take that beating because he “knows it’s not true”… so what is real? Stay tuned!!!
