One of her latest tiktoks has us wondering if something more recent hasn’t gone down between her and James Charles. One of his friends did a TikTok where James Charles had a post-it note with Tana Mongeau‘s name stuck on his forehead and when James Charles guessed correctly and his friend asked how he knew, James simply answered, “If I took your phone right now your search history would say only fans, SpongeBob memes, and who does James Charles have beef with.” Tana duetted the video and laughed along with them mockingly but in all honesty it looked like she had been crying.
What was actually going on behind that TikTok?
Whatever it is, it seems that the divide between them is greater than ever. This is one friendship that time may not heal, then again, one has to wonder if they were ever really that close in the first place. There are close friends and then, at least in the influencer world, there are friends you do collaborations with for videos and nothing more.
Is there more beef between Tana Mongeau and James Charles?
It seems that just like in the golden days of Hollywood, these fake “relationships” are everywhere in the influencer sphere and people hang out with each other for clout all the time. In the early days it looked like, at least at first glance that Tana and James were pretty good friends, but that quickly went the way of the dodo after his cancellation… and the thing is, unlike some of the other people that she has previously disavowed, this friendship looks like it’s going to stay broken.
Then again her tears might have had nothing at all to do with James Charles and everything to do with the fact that she fought with her best friend Imari Stuart on Christmas and then was forced by their “Mom” (actually, Imari’s Mom but Tana claims her as well in an extended family arrangement that seems kind of sweet, considering Tana’s birth family is not involved in her life at all.) to make up by hugging on the counter.
Maybe the video made by James Charles‘ friend was just the tip of the iceberg on a list of other holiday annoyances, according to her twitter she did get all of the gifts she had bought stolen again and had to buy them again. It looks like at this point Tana is going to be done with all holidays in the near future. (Perhaps she should consult with the Plath kids and see how that goes.) Either way it looks like Christmas was eventful at Tana’s, we’ll see what New Years’ will bring. Stay tuned!!!
