Apparently this was not a social media stunt for clout, either. It would seem that Jeff Wittek felt betrayed recently when Tana Mongeau showed up to the Doughbrick’s grand opening.
As we all know, Jeff Wittek is currently suing his former friend David Dobrik because of a prank gone horribly, horribly wrong that caused Jeff’s head to be slammed into a backhoe and as a result he has had to have a veritable ton of reconstructive surgeries on his eye. You would think that Tana, being his friend and co-host, wouldn’t touch Doughbrik’s with a 39 and a half foot pole, but you’d be wrong.
Tana Mongeau and Jeff Wittek have their first real fight
Apparently, she was photographed on David Dobrik’s snapchat at the grand opening standing in line with one of her friends. To Tana’s credit, going to Doughbrik’s was not Tana’s idea, it was her friends’ idea, she just went along for the ride and got dragged into the photo.
Jeff Wittek said that this was a trap by David Dobrik and that he wanted Tana in that picture and she fell for it. Tana said she didn’t view it that way, but Jeff sure does. He also mentioned David’s giant eye sculpture and said that it was mocking him.
And here we thought he was just going to speed right on past that – he didn’t! Apparently he and Tana had their first real fight over this outing and Jeff viewed Tana showing up to Doughbrik’s as a personal affront to him. But Jeff wasn’t exactly the innocent party here, Tana chose this opportunity to give as good as she got and call out Jeff for allowing Bryce Hall to speak about their wild hook-up without her present.
Bryce had proceeded to air out all of Tana’s dirty laundry about her sexual proclivities on the JeffFM Podcast, but Tana said that he left out half the story and said that there were things that he did that were just as wild, if not wilder, but she says she is not the type to publicly announce things like that.
We have to give her credit there, so far Tana, while not the paragon of virtue, knows how to keep things discreet. Tana felt disrespected and there were a lot of commenters who apparently agree with her.
Ultimately though, it would seem that they did put their differences behind them and they both said that they were “good”, but we’ll see how long this lasts. Stay tuned!!!
