They might not be on the best of terms right now, but Prince William and Prince Harry are going to set aside their grievances in order to respect the memory of their late mother, Princess Diana.

There’s a new report that says both royal brothers will be standing side by side during the Princess Diana statue unveiling at Kensington Gardens, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 1st, which would have been the late Princess of Wales’ 60th birthday. Here’s what you need to know.

Prince Harry, whose daughter Lilibet was born a few weeks ago is reportedly already in the UK and will quarantine for one week before the event.

Here’s What You Need To Know About The Princess Diana Statue Unveiling Event At Kensington Gardens

The unveiling will take place within the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, where Diana used to spend a great deal of time chatting to the gardeners. It was also where Prince Harry and Meghan posed for their engagement photos in 2017.

The event will be a small one, as only a few close family members will be there, along with members of the statue committee, sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley, whose portrait of the Queen appears on all UK coins, and garden designer Pip Morrison.

Back in 2017, Prince William and Prince Harry announced that they were jointly commissioning a statue ahead of the 20th anniversary of Diana’s death.

This will be the second time that Harry will be seeing his brother and the rest of the royal family ever since he and Meghan Markle threw everyone under the bus in their epic interview with Oprah Winfrey.

If that weren’t enough, Prince Harry recently said during the Armchair Expert podcast that his father Prince Charles had passed on “pain and suffering” to him while also suggesting that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip weren’t great parents, either.

Many critics in the UK believe that both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should give up their royal titles after Harry made his controversial comments.
