Soon after it was reported that Kanye got suspended from Instagram because of his “concerning online behavior” his estranged wife Kim Kardashian said that the punishment seems fair enough. While Kim has gotten the brunt of Kanye’s online harassment ever since she began dating Pete Davidson, she is probably breathing a huge sigh of relief that he’s been temporarily suspended from Instagram. An Instagram spokesperson has said that Kanye violated the company’s policies on hate speech and bullying and harassment.

He is unable to post, comment or send DMs for 24 hours. The suspension comes after West posted an image of the Google search page for Trevor Noah – who commented on West’s treatment of ex-wife Kim Kardashian on Tuesday’s (March 15) episode of The Daily Show – alongside a caption containing racial slurs.
One source close to the situation put it this way, “Kim found the suspension to be fair, but her reaction wasn’t very dramatic. She didn’t make a big deal out of it and joked that she needed a break for a day. All of Kanye’s posts have been exhausting for her though.”
The insider added, “It’s very impressive how calm and collected she is able to stay. She is very happy with [boyfriend] Pete Davidson. Her kids are doing great. She is trying her best to stay positive and focus on all the amazing things in her life.”
In a since removed post, Kanye shared the lyrics to a well-known song about hope and togetherness, but replaced one word with a like-sounding racial slur seemingly at Noah for his Daily Show bit. West has 15 million followers.
Noah has since issued a lengthy response in the comments of Kanye’s now-deleted post. “There are few artists who have had more of an impact on me than you Ye. You took samples and turned them into symphonies. You took your pain and through the wire turned it into performance perfection.
I thought differently about how I spend my money because of you, I learned to protect my child-like creativity from grown thoughts because of you, shit I still smile every time I put on my seatbelt because of you,” the Daily Show host wrote.
