Kanye West has spoken out over the welfare of his ex Kim Kardashian by stating that he is worried Pete Davidson will get her addicted to drugs.

It is no secret that Pete has spoken about his drug usage in the past. He has admitted in the public domain that he has a love for marijuana. And yet, the comedian has maintained that he does not dabble in any other drugs.
In his defence, however, Pete was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease which is apparently the reason why he decided to use marijuana in the first place. Not only that, but his use of marijuana coincided with the diagnosis of his personality disorder which Pete at one point felt was an illness due to a ‘drug problem.’
Despite that background history in place, Kanye was not having any of it. He was of the view that Pete was a danger to Kim, which ultimately would put his children in the firing line by virtue of the fact that she is the mother.
In a post to his fans on Instagram, Kanye said: “I’m really concerned that SKETE will get my kids’ mom hooked on drugs. He’s in rehab every 2 months.” Nevertheless, Kanye’s comments were hypocritical for the following reasons.
First of all, the rapper has admitted to having an addiction himself. He has spoken about how he was once addicted to opioids, which made him realise that he needed to get help immediately.
Secondly, even if Pete does have drug issues, the last thing that he would want to see is this being publicised to the whole world. After all, how will that make Pete stay in a good place?
The reaction from the fans on social media was very scathing towards Kanye. People simply had enough of his continual rants on social media and wanted him to stop. One person wrote: “I’m sure K– regrets meeting Ye. Yah the dude is off his rocker.”
