Even though it’s not always easy, it’s a decision that a lot of families have to make, almost all the time, too. Prince William and Kate Middleton are thinking about their family’s future as there are new reports that suggest the Cambridges want to pack their bags and move from Amner Hall to Windsor, and for this reason, too. Keep reading below for everything you need to know!

According to reports, William and Kate are looking to move to Windsor and not just because they think it’s a good idea to be closer to Queen Elizabeth, but also closer to the rest of the Middleton family, too. What’s more, Windsor would be an easier commute for the couple’s children, who attend St. Thomas Battersea in London.

Here’s The Real Reason Why Prince William And Kate Middleton Want To Move To Windsor

A source told the Mail on Sunday: “Anmer Hall made sense while William was a helicopter pilot in East Anglia and it was useful for Christmases at Sandringham, but it doesn’t really work any more.

“It’s a little too far away for weekends, but Windsor is a perfect compromise. They are eyeing up options in the area.”

Now, as far as where the Cambridges would move to, it wouldn’t be Frogmore Cottage. Even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle haven’t returned to their UK home ever since they stepped down as working royals back in January of 2020, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank along with their son August now live there.

The Grade II listed house owned by the Crown Estate located towards the southern edge of Windsor Great Park is what some people call a perfect place for William and Kate’s family. The mansion is currently leased to the Weston family who are close friends of the Royals.

The Cambridge’s official residence, as well as their offices, are located in Kensington Palace.
