HBO’s ‘His Dark Materials’ is returning for its second season. An official teaser was released just yesterday that helped build up more anticipation and has viewers clamoring for November to come around. ‘His Dark Materials’ season one was a huge hit for HBO and many fans loved that it stuck closer to the novels this time around rather than the film that came out years ago.
Check out the teaser below that was uploaded with the following description,
“His Dark Materials stars Dafne Keen, James McAvoy, Ruth Wilson and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Adapting Philip Pullman’s award-winning trilogy of the same name, which is considered a modern masterpiece of imaginative fiction, the first season follows Lyra, a seemingly ordinary but brave young woman from another world. Her search for a kidnapped friend uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children, and becomes a quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust. As she journeys through the worlds, including our own, Lyra meets Will, a determined and courageous boy. Fans are excited for the second season, commenting, “I honestly can’t wait,it seems way much more darker and exciting than S1. It’s going to be amazing”, “This series has to go further than the trilogy of his dark materials books. I’d love to see the production of the trilogy of The Book of Dust.
