ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that Ingo Rademacher AKA Jasper Jacks of the show fame just seriously made the wrong move on both instagram and twitter. Now granted, its his social media he can be as inflammatory as he wants, but considering just how many fans he has who are asian or of asian descent, I would have at least thought twice before posting this meme. It said, and I quote: “No one thinks Chinese Americans are to blame for the chinese coronavirus.
If you don’t have the intellectual capacity to understand that we are referring to a country and not an ethnicity, I can’t help you. You’re just an idiot.” That was… wow. That took.. A lot… Ingo. A lot of what I’m not sure can be printed, but… a lot.

Normally something like this would be lighthearted but what Ingo fails to realize is just how many people have actually been hurt over higher ups in government referring to the virus as “chinese” in origin. There has been a lot of hate speech surrounding this t,erm and the outcome isn’t looking good aa far as actual hate crimes go. The longer this virus is a thing and the more this kind of actually harmful misinformation gets spread around the more people will have to detail with unnecessary hate coming their way.

I don’t really think Ingo really realizes the magnitude of what he is doing. At least I hope he doesn’t, we’d be more likely to stan someone who doesn’t actually know what he’s doing than someone who’s willfully perpetuating potentially harmful stigma than we would someone who’s just being, shall we say, willfully ignorant. Or at least that’s what we would like to think but upon. Seeing another one of Ingo’s tweets we wonder just what on earth is actually going on here. Apparently co-star Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) isn’t tolerating his point of view for one moment and has blocked him. Ingo pointed out that he thinks that it’s because she has a certain political affiliation and he doesn’t agree, but whatever the case it looks like these two will not be communicating anytime soon, at least not over twitter.
