‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers expected it to be a tough scene when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) found out Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) shot Charlotte Cassadine (Ava Kolker), but we didn’t expect him to shut Anna out like he did.
Granted, it’s understandable since she did shoot his daughter, but he knows it’s his fault and it’s something he’s going to have to grapple with in the coming days and weeks.
Unfortunately, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers don’t think it’s going to go well for him as he’ll lash out at Anna for what she did before he accepts his role in it, and that will push away the woman he loves.
But could there be more to come? Could he end up losing Charlotte even if she lives?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Legal ramifications coming his way
While Valentin had the best of intentions by keeping Charlotte’s activities from Anna, the fact he did created this situation.
Had he told her initially, she would’ve kept his secret and helped him find help for Charlotte. Instead, she was left on her own, and after discovering a former agent who would probably want her dead could be her antagonist, she went into high alert.
It ended up being a perfect storm of events, and now Valentin is suffering for his role in it, but he’ll put the blame on Anna because his daughter was shot.
But when he realizes it’s his fault, that’ll give him another secret to try to keep buried because it could cost him his daughter.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers : The damage is done
Since there was a shooting, there’s going to be a police investigation, and whether it’s Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) or an outside investigator, like the gentleman Anna is concerned about, things will come to light.
It’ll put more pressure on Valentin and the guilt will eat away at him. He’ll apologize to Charlotte and try to with Anna and explain himself, but we suspect only Charlotte will be listening at this point.
And so could the authorities, and that’s when Valentin could be charges with endangerment, negligence, and a few others for knowing what Charlotte was doing and not stepping up to stop her.
Chances are she could be sent to live with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) with instructions that Valentin’s visits are supervised or something like that, and it’ll hurt him and cause Charlotte to act out and rebel more.
