‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that the Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) saga needs to end at some point.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: We Thought Willow Would Finally Walk Away
As a collective whole, we don’t think any two characters in soaps have ever been this despicable. It’s hard to stomach their scenes.
We thought the Willow and Drew pairing would at long last be over and done with. Willow found out about Drew and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) affair.
Willow was informed about Drew and Nina’s trysts by Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) on the very day that Willow and Drew were supposed to get married.
Their wedding day resulted in what we had hoped would be a very satisfying end to the most nauseating couple in soap history.
Willow condemned her mother quite harshly and then proceeded to walk down the aisle. However, she went on a holy tirade and expressed her fury toward Drew for lying to her and making her lose her kids.
She finally dumped Drew, and we thought there may have been some hope for her to realize what a terrible mistake she had made with him.
Yet, Willow is still making poor choices. In the August 29th episode of GH, she sat down. She told Drew that if he could reunite her with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko), she would come back to him.
She even believed Drew’s load of BS that he wanted to tell her about his past with Nina, but Nina refused to allow it.
Willow could possibly be redeemed. Her friendship with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may save her if Liz convinces Willow to get the help that she needs.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is A Drew Whodunit In The Works?
Willow is as nutty as a Payday candy bar and doesn’t seem to think before she acts. Nor does she take responsibility for any of her mistakes.
She needs some intense therapy to deal with the trauma that resulted from her living in a cult, massive deprogramming, and she could also use some help regarding her destructive romantic patterns and hero worship syndrome.
How many people need to warn Willow not to involve herself with Drew for her to wake up? She doesn’t understand that she’s playing with fire and she’s about to get burned.
Drew thinks he’s found the smoking gun to help Willow get her kids back. However, it may be the key to his eventual downfall.
There is much speculation that a Drew whodunit is about to go down. No character on a soap makes that many enemies without eventually getting their comeuppance.
Plus, Laura Wright, who plays Carly Spencer, hinted at an upcoming Drew murder mystery when she posted on Instagram that Cameron was J.R. Ewing.
J.R. Ewing was a widely disliked character in the 1980s nighttime soap opera Dallas. The storyline in which he was shot was enormously famous.
It became a cultural phenomenon. We can certainly see that Drew’s enemies are about to rise and put a stop to Drew’s treachery.
No matter what, karma is coming for the sleazy Congressman. That said, it seems like Drew and Willow’s offensive storyline continues at least for now.
