‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) hasn’t been doing her job as police commissioner lately. Not only did Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) reveal to her that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) tampered with Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) bipolar medicine, but Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) informed her of this a while back, and Anna just sat on her hands with it.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Valentin Messed With Sonny’s Medicine
Valentin had Sonny’s pharmacist alter his meds so that he was only receiving a quarter of his correct dose of medicine. It was a dangerous situation for Sonny and everyone around him.
Sonny nearly beat Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to death when he wasn’t properly medicated. He could have also hurt his young daughters, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Separs).
Anna took no action to ensure that whoever did this to Sonny paid for their crime. Sonny and Anna used to be close, but she’s since turned on him and vowed to put him behind bars.
Sonny wants to use Anna as bait to draw Valentin out and get him to come home on his own. It’s a far better plan than trying to find him.
She likely won’t go along with the plan, but he could remind her that it’s her job to protect everyone, not just those she feels compelled to protect for personal reasons.
Jason did the right thing by telling Sonny who messed with his meds. He had a right to know who was responsible for making him lose all sense of control.
Anna is worried that Sonny will kill Valentin in front of Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlet Fernandez), which is a valid fear. The mob boss won’t hesitate to take the law into his own hands if he’s pushed.
If she doesn’t cooperate with the plan, Jason could always threaten to expose Anna for her role in letting Valentin getaway in the first place.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Anna Has Been Too Generous With Valentin
Anna allowed him to escape from the FBI’s clutches before he confronted justice. Jason could even go to her superiors since they worked together on the Pikeman case.
Even if Jason only shared this information with Sonny, it could still be catastrophic because it would fuel his rage against Valentin.
Sonny has the resources and the means to find someone who’s hiding. Anna may try to track Valentin down if she finds out Jason told Sonny about Val’s pill scam.

Then, there’s Laura Collins (Genie Francis who’s already asked Anna to pump up the search for Valentin and Charlotte. Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan) has taken a turn for the worse, and there’s a chance she might not live.
Lulu’s liver is failing, and Laura wants Charlotte to come home. Anna knows that if she does locate Valentin, he has a target on his back.
Anna may discover Valentin’s whereabouts but keep them a secret and bring Charlotte home to see her mother. Anna should realize she’s been more than generous with Valentin and bring him home to face the music. One thing is for sure: if Sonny is the one to pinpoint Valentin’s location, he won’t grant him any mercy.
