‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Scout Cain (Cosette Abinate) may uncover the truth about Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) and her dirty deeds.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Scout’s Mother, Sam, Was a Tough Cookie
Scout’s late mother, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), was an expert super-sleuth detective adept at solving tough cases. She made some very heroic moves in her lifetime and saved quite a number of people.
Sam helped save Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) when her wicked mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), was taking advantage of her financially, mentally, emotionally, and otherwise.
Poor Sasha ended up at Ferncliff and was almost killed by the evil Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) as his diabolical plan with Gladys was to drug Sasha until she died.
Thanks to Sam, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) arrived in the nick of time to rescue her. Sam and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) also saved her sister, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), from Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
While Sam didn’t need to sleuth to save Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning), she did donate a portion of her liver to Lulu, which saved her life.
Sadly, Sam was tragically killed by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) shortly after the surgery. Sam’s death left Scout heartbroken, and now she is forced to live with her father, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and the newly minted Congresswoman, Willow Cain.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: We Think There May Be a Twist in the Willow/Drew Saga Involving Scout
While we know that Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) knows that Willow’s mom, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), bribed Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) to delete footage that proved Willow shot Drew, we think there may be an unexpected twist in the works.
Plus, Charlotte is cunning enough to realize that information like what she overheard between Nina and Brennan is much more damaging if kept in her back pocket to use when she deems it necessary. She is, after all, Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) daughter.
That said, we have to wonder if Scout is more like her mother than anyone knows. Drew taught Scout Morse Code when she was little. He wanted her to use it to communicate with him if she ever needed help.
Willow won’t hesitate to allow Scout to spend time with her dad. Despite Willow being a sociopath, she does love Scout. She considers her to be one of her own children and would do almost anything for her.
So, it’s conceivable that Scout could come into Drew’s room, and he’ll communicate with her by sending an SOS. If Scout knows Morse Code, she could potentially save her dad from this “Misery” situation.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Danny May Help His Little Sister Expose Willow
Scout may ask Drew whether he wants Willow to come back into the room, and he would undoubtedly blink no. We suspect that Scout may recruit her big brother, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), to help her figure out what is going on between Willow and her father.
Danny and Scout would definitely do the right thing and expose Willow. Drew may be a lousy and perpetually selfish parent, but he’s the only parent Scout has left.
Poor Scout’s very young life has been a tragedy so far. Her mom passed away and her father has refused to allow her to see Sam’s side of the family, espcially her brother, Danny simply because he’s Jason’s son.
We estimate she’s probably around 12 years old, though she looks much younger. If Danny and Scout discover the truth about Willow, she can finally be free of both Drew and his murderous wife.
Scout’s life is so sad. It would be wonderful to see her go live either with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) or at the Quartermaine mansion, where she could live with Danny in peace.
