‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is desperate to free Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen). Nina is the type of mother who will do anything for her child, even if it means crossing the line.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jack Expects Nina to Use Charlotte to Find Valentin
Willow is on trial for the attempted murder of her own husband, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and it looks like it could go either way.
Nina went to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) for help with Willow’s case. Jack made it clear to Nina that he would only help if she did something for him in return.
The traffic cam video that incriminated Willow mysteriously disappeared. It was a crucial piece of evidence in the case, and it was obviously deleted.
The WSB’s technical advances are far superior, and the PCPD is no match for Brennan. After all, Jack is uniquely skilled at manipulating the system to his advantage.
It’s not the first time that Brennan played magician and made evidence evaporate into thin air. He once erased a recording that was set to put Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) behind bars.
Now that Jack made good on his promise, he fully expects that Nina will do the same. Nina was tasked with finding out where Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is currently hiding.
Ironically, Valentin is staying in Carly’s attic. Jack advised Nina to use her relationship with Valentin’s daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke), to lead him to Valentin.
Once Nina determines Valentin’s whereabouts, she’s supposed to report back to Valentin. However, Nina’s potential betrayal of Valentin also entails her betraying Charlotte as well.
Nina is unsure whether she can follow through on this. Yet she warned Charlotte not to trust anyone with the details of her communication with her dad.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan Made Copies of Willow’s Traffic Cam Video In Case Nina Doesn’t Deliver
If Nina fails to come through for Brennan, he has copies of the traffic cam footage he made in case Nina doesn’t deliver Valentin to him.
Nina has been truly desperate to win back Willow’s favor after Willow found out on her wedding day that Nina had an affair with Drew before he and Willow slept together.
Obviously, Nina is being blackmailed by one of the best in the business. If she doesn’t give Jack what he wants, he’ll take no issue with coming forward with that missing evidence.
However, we predict that Nina will ultimately betray Valentin and Charlotte to save Willow because that’s simply who Nina is.
She already betrayed Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and revealed her as a viable suspect in Drew’s shooting. It’s because of Nina that Portia was forced to admit in court that she was with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) the night Drew was shot.
Truthfully, we were team Portia when she confronted Nina at the Brown Dog. Nina stabbed Portia in the back for someone who may very well be guilty.
Right now, Valentin and Charlotte both trust Nina, but that will change once she discovers where Valentin is hiding. She would tell Brennan in a heartbeat.
That said, we could also see sneaky Jack tracking Nina with his WSB agents. If he discovers Nina is keeping something from him, it’s not going to end well for Nina, and definitely not for Willow.
