‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggests that it isn’t always wise to start snooping. It’s best to have honest conversations with the people you care about.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) had concerns about the suspicious activities of her boyfriend, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). Instead of discussing it honestly, she decided to snoop and ended up in a lot of trouble.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Suspicious Activity
GH’s Martin Grey seemed to act a bit cagey when Lucy would gush about his role in the development of the Deceptor, Deception’s new product. He also says he will never get married again and doesn’t want to discuss that possibility with Lucy. These things make her feel that something is off with Martin.
Lucy’s friend, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) starts snooping for her, to try to find out what is going on. What she finds is even more concerning.
Upon going through Martin’s trash, Felicia discovers he has been receiving hefty bank deposits monthly from an unknown person. The deposits are coming from Pennsylvania. This is another thing that Lucy feels is suspicious.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Investigating Gone Wrong
Lucy and Felicia decide to go to Pine Valley where the deposits originated from. They end up trying to snoop at the office of Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey) to try to find out who is sending Martin money.
Felicia ends up getting through the file cabinet while Lucy is distracting Jackson in his office and the secretary is out getting coffee. But the document she is looking for is not there. She has to get into the safe.
Jackson and Lucy make plans to go out to dinner. This will give Felicia the time she needs to get into the safe. Jackson ends up admitting to Lucy that he knows who she is and he thinks he knows what she is up to.
He doesn’t seem to have her intentions pegged, but it is uncomfortable for her because he has identified her. Felicia is caught in the act of reading Martin’s file when Jackson and Lucy arrive with security.
They are headed to jail but thankfully, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) convinces Jackson not to press charges against the ladies. They are able to leave, and they go with the knowledge that Martin is receiving alimony payments from his latest ex-wife. If he marries Lucy, he will lose those payments.
This is a big reason that he does not want to get married again. His relationship with Lucy doesn’t matter more than cold hard cash.
Will this knowledge make Lucy drop Martin like a hot potato? Or will he find out that she has been snooping to find out his personal business and will he call it quits? What do you think?
