‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) needs to face his fears if he wants any hope of succeeding in a relationship with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). While he was willing to put himself in harm’s way to save her life, he isn’t willing to admit his faults. Will this be the obstacle that threatens his newly developing relationship?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Changed Man
When GH’s Sasha was a victim of extortion, drugged and held against her will at Ferncliff Hospital for the Criminally Insane, Cody showed his true colors. He busted her out and took on the evil Doctor Montague (Darin Toonder). He saved Sasha’s life.
While she piles on praise for his heroism, he has shared with her that he has made some terrible mistakes. He doesn’t believe he is worthy of her accolades. After all, he lied about being Mac Scorpio’s (John W. York) son and was using that lie to try to make bank. He also worked at the card tables for the notorious gangster Selina Wu (Lydia Look).
Despite all of that, Sasha can see the good in him because of what he was willing to do for her. She believes that he has redeemed himself and when he comes clean, he will be forgiven.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Running Out of Time?
Sasha believes that Cody needs to prove that he is a changed person. To do so would involve coming forward and admitting that he lied. She thinks his time is running out because GH’s Mac Scorpio’s wife, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) smells a rat and is investigating. She believes that Cody wasn’t being truthful, and she is digging around to find out if that is the case and why.
Sasha thinks that Cody has to beat Felicia to the punch and tell Mac everything. Cody is afraid to do that because it means he could face prison time for perjury. He doesn’t want to go to Pentonville. The other part of this is that he doesn’t believe that Mac will feel “good” about having a son like him, who has been in so much trouble. Cody doesn’t want to ruin Mac’s reputation.
If Cody still avoids this and just waits to see what happens, will Sasha continue to see him in the same way? Or will she realize that he doesn’t have the courage that it takes to face his demons? Will she continue to stand by him or not? What do you think Cody should do?
