‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that Brooklyn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is fed up with her scheming grandmother and needs a new place to live.
It turns out Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is behind the Deception lawsuit.
Tracy told Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) that she wants 75 percent of the company, or else the case is going to trial, with a very eager Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey) ready to eat the Deception ladies alive.
Brooklyn finally stood up to Tracy and told her that she always had Tracy’s back. She has finished with her and can’t stand to live under the same roof anymore.
Brooklyn has reached her boiling point, and she doesn’t want to hear Tracy tell her that she was teaching her a valuable life lesson.
She knows that Tracy is just using that as an excuse, and she was using her to gain privileged information about Deception to make it look like the Deceptor was her idea.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brooklyn Wants to Move Out
BLQ is disgusted by her grandmother for making her hurt her friends. Olivia Falconari (Lisa LoCicero), who witnesses Tracy’s appalling lack of remorse, asks Tracy, “How could you?”
Olivia poses the question, thinking she may get a normal human response, but Tracy claims, “It’s just business,” and shrugs it off.
Brooklyn storms out, reeling, unable to believe that her grandmother can be so callous. Brooklyn’s departure leaves Tracy alone to deal with Olivia.
Olivia tells Tracy that if Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) was himself, he could probably reason with her. “But he’s not, and we’re stuck with Eddie Maine,” Tracy snaps back.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: An Unexpected Proposition
Brooklyn goes to Kelly’s and texts Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Suddenly, he appears and sees that BLQ is clearly upset. Brooklyn explains that she can’t be under the same roof with her grandmother anymore.
Chase tells her he has the perfect solution and wants her to live with him. A stunned Brooklyn is speechless.
This living arrangement could quickly lead to a romantic proposal from Chase, who has been getting some pressure to pop the question from his father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).
It’s a good thing Chase truly loves Brooklyn, or else she may be renting a room from Kelly’s. Although, that option is more appealing to her than living with her grandmother.
Brooklyn needs to know that she can count on Chase for support. She bit off more than she could chew when she helped her grandmother get the goods on Deception.
BLQ didn’t bargain for her grandmother to be so selfish, greedy, and malicious.
She also has yet to know how her friends Maxie Jones (Kiersten Storms), Lucy, or Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) will feel about her after this, and she is genuinely sorry for putting her friends and Deception in such a terrible situation.
Hopefully, she can mend fences, especially with Maxie, and they will forgive her.
Tracy has been reminding her that she is responsible for Chase getting his job back. Her insecurity seems to have cost her the trust of the people she cares about.
Chase seems to know Brooklyn best, and he will find a way to help Brooklyn get through it. The two of them have become so close, and Chase might want to make it official and “put a ring on it.”
Brooklyn didn’t expect Chase to ask her to move in with him. She may get a wonderful surprise that will lift her spirits and make her blissfully happy. Watch General Hospital to see if this leads to a proposal from Chase.
