‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) may decide to blackmail Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to join the WSB in exchange for Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) freedom.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Joss Killed Cyrus In Self-Defense After Finding Proof He Killed Dex
Joss believed Jack was helping her prove Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was guilty of killing Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) because he cares for Carly and, by extension, cares about what happens to Joss.+
However, Brennan had an ulterior motive all along. He wants her to come work for the WSB as a spy. He used Joss’s need to seek justice for Dex to test her and see if she’d make a successful agent.
After Joss killed Cyrus, she was in shock, and instead of calling Jason, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), or Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she contacted Brennan.
It was strange that Brennan told Joss he was right outside when Cyrus was coming at her with an axe, ready, willing, and able to chop her pretty head off.
Joss didn’t understand why he didn’t burst in and help her. She killed Cyrus in self-defense. Honestly, it was way past time for Cyrus to get his comeuppance.
Cyrus killed Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Joss’s boyfriend. She would have been next. The police, namely Anna, would have understood that she had no choice.
That being said, Anna warned her not to go rogue and try to investigate Cyrus on her own. Joss specifically went to Brennan for help, and that’s likely why she chose to phone him.
Now, Jason is suspected of murdering Cyrus. Two hairs that were a match for Stone Cold were found at the crime scene.
Jason will be determined to prove his innocence. When Joss discovers Jason is in serious trouble, she’ll want to confess.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan Could Strike A Deal With Joss
However, we can see that the smooth operator, Jack, offers Joss a deal not to tell the truth about killing Cyrus and allows him to make the whole situation go away for Jason if she agrees to join the WSB.
Anna claimed in the past that Brennan likes to recruit young women for the agency. He obviously sees something in Joss that gives him faith that she’d make a formidable spy.
Will Joss make a life-changing decision that could alter the course of her life? She may drop out of college to join the WSB.
Joss’s work for the WSB would likely be only to protect Jason from going to prison at first, but she may find that she enjoys the job. Carly won’t be too thrilled about any of this.
If Carly learns what Brennan did to Joss and Jason, he can kiss a relationship with her goodbye. Brennan is playing with fire, where his romance with Carly is concerned.
Although, we can envision Joss as a spy. Her instincts about Cyrus were spot on, and she wasn’t afraid to follow them to his hideaway house to find proof.
Brennan must feel that Joss is worth taking a chance on. Jack obviously had a hidden motive with Joss all along. Falling in love with Carly was unplanned. Joss must decide for herself whether she’s willing to spend her future indebted to Brennan.
