‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that many fans want Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) to return and reunite with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sofia Mattsson Is Currently Back In LA With New Brunette Locks
Sofia Mattsson recently shared on Instagram that she’s currently in Los Angeles, “soaking up the sunshine.”
The actress also showed off her gorgeous new hairstyle as she’s gone “to the dark side,” so to speak, and has become a brunette.
The last time GH viewers saw Sofia, she was sporting blond locks, so it’s a big change for her. When Mattsson announced she was leaving GH, she made it clear it was only “goodbye for now.”
Apparently, Mattsson also has “Sasha Gilmore on ABC’s @generalhospitalabc” in her bio. It seems likely that she plans to come back.
Back when she revealed she was leaving the soap, the actress hoped Sasha would one day return to Port Charles, as her character definitely has unfinished business with Michael.
Right now, many fans seem invested in Michael’s new romance with ex-sex worker, Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell). Call me crazy, but I am not really into it.
I don’t really see much chemistry between them. I was hoping that Sasha’s potential return would bring her and Michael back together.
Plus, Sasha and Michael have a baby together, Daisy Gilmore (Levi Clark Coughlin). If Sasha came back to town, she and Michael could be a happy little family.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael and Jacinda Lack Chemistry
Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko), Michael, Sasha, and Daisy seem to fit like a well-put-together puzzle.
At the very least, Sasha should return when Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) inevitably passes away, as GH plans to pay tribute to him and the other cast members who have also recently died.
Michael and Jacinda’s relationship feels almost forced. It was as if GH was trying too hard to make them into a “Pretty Woman” scenario.
Personally, I gave the pair a chance, but ultimately, I don’t see the same chemistry between them as I do between Sofia Mattsson and Rory Gibson.
Plus, what sense does it even make for Michael and Jacinda to be in a long-term relationship together?
Additionally, the reason that Sasha and Michael broke up in the first place was that Sasha supposedly wasn’t a good influence on Michael’s son, Wiley.
Sasha and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) pretended to cheat on Michael and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) so that the two of them would gravitate toward each other.
Apparently, Willow was supposed to be some kind of moral, upstanding citizen, and Sasha wasn’t good enough to help Michael win custody of Wiley. Look how that turned out.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sasha and Michael Make More Sense
So, if Sasha wasn’t “good enough,” what in the hell kind of sense does it make for Michael to be with a former sex worker? Super dumb.
Michael and Willow have an illogical custody arrangement based on the fact that Michael’s lawyer, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), previously advised him years ago to keep more “appropriate company.”
We all know Jacinda is still a sex worker. It was obvious when the other day she received a text on her phone and was awfully vague about it. It was likely Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) texting her.
It seemed to foreshadow that Jacinda was still hooking. Admittedly, Jacinda was much more fun when she was an actual sex worker, and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was doing body shots off her.
Now, she’s allegedly redeemed, but I don’t really buy it. I desperately want Sasha to return and for her and Michael to become one big happy blended family. Sasha deserves some lasting happiness, and in my opinion, she’s never stopped loving Michael.
