‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is acting hypocritically and in a self-righteous manner in the way she treats Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lulu Just Discovered That Brook Lynn And Dante Share A Child
Lulu just discovered that Brook Lynn has a child with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampogna). BLQ had a teenage summer romance with Dante, which resulted in an unplanned pregnancy.
Brook Lynn decided to give the baby up for adoption as she wasn’t ready to be a mother. Giving up a child is a harrowing and personal experience, and again, Brook Lynn was just a teenager.
Lulu went to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for advice, and Carly tried to explain to Lulu that what Brook Lynn did doesn’t make her a bad person. She also wanted to encourage her to have empathy when she pointed out that Lulu also made the tough choice to have an abortion.
Carly told her that when Brook Lynn gave up the baby and kept it a secret, she decided as a mother to do what she believed was best for her child. Lulu may have heard Carly, but she definitely wasn’t listening.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lulu Gave Brook Lynn An Ultimatum
In the March 7th episode of GH, Lulu confronted Brook Lynn and warned her that if she didn’t come clean with Dante, Lulu would inform her ex-husband that Brook Lynn had a son with Dante when they were in high school, and Brook Lynn gave him up for adoption without telling him. It was probably the hardest decision she ever had to make.
Brook Lynn pointed out that she never judged Lulu for her choice to have an abortion and did not judge her for her choices concerning her child, but Lulu was very combative with Brook Lynn and refused to have any compassion for her. Clearly, Lulu can’t be objective when it comes to Brook Lynn.
Lulu is on the verge of blowing up Brook Lynn’s life so that she can get closer to Dante. Maybe she feels his grieving Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is taking too long, and she wants to ensure she has his attention.
Lulu snuck into Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) hotel room and found the notes he took during his meeting with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer).
Lulu read that Brook Lynn and Dante share a son. She ran straight to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and manipulated him into admitting Brook Lynn’s secret.
General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn Made A Loving, Unselfish Choice For Her Child
The child in question is Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), who happens to live with Brook Lynn at the Quartermaine mansion. Lulu will not only hurt Brook Lynn but also Gio.
Gio doesn’t even know he was adopted. He will be shocked to learn that the mother he believed was his for all those years wasn’t really his mother and that Brook Lynn is. The only three people other than Brook Lynn who know Gio is Dante and Brook Lynn’s son are, Lois, Martin, and now Lulu.
Once the truth comes out, it may not have the effect Lulu wants. Dante and Brook Lynn could form a deeper bond when they find out Gio is their child. It could give Dante the family connection he’s been missing now that Sam is gone.
Lulu is being petty and sanctimonious. She doesn’t understand Brook Lynn’s experience. Telling Dante all those years ago would have made the situation even more traumatic. Brook Lynn made an unselfish, loving choice that was in the baby’s best interest.
