‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is not alone, even though she may feel like it. There are some people who believe that something is amiss and want to try to help her. Who will be able to get to the bottom of her situation?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: So Much Suffering
Sasha Corbin is being held at the Ferncliff Hospital for the Criminally Insane. Her guardian, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has been up to no good. Gladys has some serious gambling problems.
She owes Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and continues to rack up the debt. The only way to make her payments is if she can keep control of Sasha’s money.
Sasha has struggled with her mental health and substance abuse since the death of her infant son Liam, not long after birth. As if this loss wasn’t devastating enough, her husband Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was murdered. All of this put her over the edge, and she spiraled out of control. Gladys is put in charge of her and her finances.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Getting Better
Sasha was starting to do better. She was sober and was successful in her position at Deception. She thought it was time to take control over the life and dissolve the guardianship.
Sasha began to look into the process of gaining independence from her guardian. Of course, Gladys is opposed to this. She needs Sasha’s money now more than ever and needs to keep her under her thumb.
A judge must decide whether or not to dissolve the guardianship with the recommendation of a psychiatrist. Sasha visits Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder). Her progress pleases him.
Then he discovers that he is gambling partners with Gladys. She convinces him that she needs his help to make Sasha crash and burn again.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Needing Help
Montague starts giving Sasha a medication that he says will help, but it is really to destroy her. She goes off the rails. She steals clothing from Logans and doesn’t remember doing that at all.
After taking the medication again, she has a hallucination at the Metro Court pool. Sasha thinks that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and she stabs him.
After the stabbing, police commit her to Ferncliff. Most people seem to think she has just gone crazy, but Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Cody Bell are suspicious. They think that something is amiss, and they believe Gladys is somehow involved. Sam is keeping an eye on Gladys and Cody is trying to get into Ferncliff to visit Sasha.
