‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers seems to have new characters daily. Some of them are not new but pop in and out of Port Charles quickly. One of these characters is Gladys Corbin, who is played by Bonnie Burroughs, and previously by Mel Harris. Gladys ( Bonnie Burroughs) has made a few appearances on GH. Many fans that are new to ‘General Hospital’ may not know about her and why she is so close to the Corinthos family.
Glayds Corbin ( Bonnie Burroughs) first came to Port Charles in July of 2019. This is when Mel Harris played the role. In September of 2019, the role of Gladys was recast and Bonnie Burroughs took over. When Gladys (bonnie Burroughs) meets Sonny ( Maurice Benard), they are inside a cafe and the meeting was not very pleasant. Sonny (Maurice Benard) asked Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) if she would pretend to be a young man’s grandmother. The young man is from Turkey and he needed help staying in Port Charles. His name is Dev. Even though Gladys ( Burroughs) was not pleased that Sonny (Maurice Benard) would try her like that she gave in and helped.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) gave Gladys ( Bonnie Burroughs) a big check for her efforts. Then in September, Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) visited Port Charles. She came to see her cousin, who is Mike Corbin. Mike is played by Max Gail. Then for Christmas, Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) paid Mike ( Max Gail) another visit, this time at Turning Woods. She wanted to take her cousin to the track. Gladys ( Bonnie Burrough) had good intentions for her cousin. She wanted to get his mind off of Yvonne, a patient there who took a turn for the worse.
Mike learns that Gladys is down because she will be alone on Christmas, so he tries to convince Sonny to invite her to his house for the holiday. There may be a chance that Gladys will continue her stay in Port Charles and continue helping Sonny out with his plan. There is a large sum of money involved and this charade has been going on for a while now. Gladys may not have any other option. Will Gladys try to renegotiate the deal she made with Sonny Corinthos or will she tell Sonny she is not going along with this plan anymore? There is only one way to find out.
