‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that there may indeed be some kind of future for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattson) after all. After saving her from destruction, Cody was disheartened to learn that Sasha wanted to move away. Now that she has changed her mind, will there be a future for the couple?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Being a Hero
Sasha Corbin lost both her son and her young husband. These were devastating losses that sent her into a depression. She had a few episodes and got addicted to prescription medication.
She had to get help for these issues and the court decided that her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) would be her guardian.
As Sasha started to improve and get her feet back under her again, she realized that she wanted to be “free” from the guardianship. She wanted to have her own life and be responsible for her finances.
Unbeknownst to Sasha, Gladys was using her funds to pay for her massive gambling debts. Gladys liked to play poker at Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) tables, and she was losing big.
Sasha had to be cleared by a physician and the court appointed Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) to evaluate her. Unluckily for Sasha, Montague was Glady’s gambling partner. He wanted Gladys to be able to keep playing and he agreed to help her keep Sasha unstable for cold hard cash.
Cody suspected Gladys was up to no good. He tried to alert people to this, but no one was really paying attention until it got very bad. Finally, Sasha was committed to Ferncliff Hospital for the Criminally Insane because she tried to stab Cody during a drug induced hallucination. Cody broke into Ferncliff and rescued Sasha, saving her life.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Leaving Town
Sasha decided that the pain of all her recent experiences were just too much for her. She wants to start with a clean slate. Sasha decides that she would like to pack it all up and move to Austin, Texas. She doesn’t know anyone there at all, but that might be just what she needs upon leaving the pain of Port Charles.
Cody doesn’t want her to go. He really cares about her and is starting to have some deep feelings for her. He hasn’t been able to articulate that yet. As Sasha hits the road, she realizes she doesn’t want to go. She ends up coming back and says she is going to stay.
Is Cody going to express his feelings for Sasha? Are they going to begin a relationship with each other? What do you think? Do they make a good couple?
