‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers find that they might have looked like an unlikely duo when they first began seeing each other, but it looks like Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) are fast becoming everyone’s favorite couple on ‘General Hospital’. As a matter of fact, actor Wes Ramsey himself has noticed the great chemistry between Peter and August and how they’ve managed to captivate audiences so effortlessly! Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Wes Ramsey (Peter August) Opens Up About Relationship With Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones)!
According to ABC Soaps in Depth, it’s without a doubt that both Peter and Maxie have come a long way. Even though he was initially there to help her get over the loss of her husband Nathan, Peter also couldn’t help but notice a spark between the two of them, too. And according to actor Wes Ramsey, he credits Kirsten Storms for not only being super easy to work with, but also a talented soap star, too.
“My hat’s off to Kirsten, because she’s an incredible actress,” he raved to Soaps In Depth. “The work she pulls off day in and day out, week in and week out, I’m really in awe of her. I feel fortunate to work with her. She and I both are able to rely on each other and on the writing — because for us, it starts and ends with the writing. We have to take what they give us and use ourselves to make it into what we believe it could be.” And while the odds might have initially been against them, Wes knew that he and Kirsten had to make things work, for better or for worse.
“Immediately, when we realized we were going to work together and that the stakes were going to be so high, we knew it was going to give us a chance to really go for it,” he recalled. “And we did. It’s been a blast!”
