    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For week of July 24: Curtis makes a hard choice. Plus, Ava gets in way over her head.

    ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for the week of July 24th reveal there are two main stories this week. One, is the introduction of the new nanny. The other is Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) recent diagnosis. Let’s take a look at what’s ahead.

    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For week of July 24: Bad news

    So, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Curtis recently got some bad news. He’s learned it’s likely he’ll never walk again. That obviously hit him and everyone close to him hard. But now, Curtis is looking to the future.

    And it won’t exactly be in a good way. In the promo, he tells Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) if he can’t walk again, she needs to let him go. We can just see how well that one is going to go over! There is no way she’ll be willing to do that after almost losing him.

    But we believe Curtis is serious, and this is going to be a huge fight between them. If Portia doesn’t do what he asks, we can see him doing whatever possible to push her away and make her leave.

    What this means for his other relationships, we’re not sure. But we really do hope Curtis will be able to recover fully. Let’s face it: this show has been filled with enough depressing situations as it is. Something has to get better.

    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For week of July 24: Meet the Nanny

    Elsewhere, we’ll see Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) make her debut. She’s the new nanny Ava Jerome (Maura West) is supposed to hire to spy on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Based on that promo, it looks like the two women might not hit it off so well.

    And it seems Betty might be as pushy and pleasant to deal with as anyone else connected with Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). Something tells us Ava has gotten in way over her head. Especially given what happens after her meeting with Betty.

    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For week of July 24: On the trail

    Finally, there Sonny. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Sonny already knows Austin’s hiding something. And it seems he’ll be on to Ava as well the week of July 24th. In this case, though, Sonny appears to be more helpful than threatening. He will be able to tell Ava is scared and will demand to know what’s going on.

    If Ava is smart, she’ll tell him everything while she still has a chance. Because she is clearly not doing so well as things are now. She just gets deeper and deeper into this hole Mason (Nathanyael Grey) dug for her when he took Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
