    ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for the week of August 14th reveal the focus is on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Specifically, who’s been targeting her lately. Following the fire at her home, she’ll be meeting with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in a search for answers. Here’s what you need to know.

    First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal things have not been easy for Anna lately. First, she got exposed as a double agent, which just happened to be right after Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) willed her “the truth.”

    An event that led to someone writing “murderer” on her front door. Then, there was the Metro Court shooting where she was one of two possible intended targets. Now, someone set her house on fire while she was out. Anna’s tried to play it off and handle this herself, but based on the promo, it looks like that’s over now.

    So, the promo opens on the immediate aftermath of the fire and we see Anna looking somewhat shaken. But we think Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is even worse. He points out that it all started when his father outed Anna as a former double agent.

    Clearly, he’ll struggle with guilt about what Anna’s going through, and he definitely has reason. Besides the Victor thing weighing on him, he also involved Anna in the Pikeman thing by having her relay a vague message to Sonny. So, we see him going to whatever lengths necessary to make sure Anna is safe.

    Later, Anna will discuss the situation with Dante and he’ll want to talk about who would have motive for the attack. Anna will likely have a long list to go through, but she’ll likely focus on people within the WSB. But there is one theory going around we think would be a good one.

    Now, the obvious answer to this whole thing would be Pikeman because of their ties to the WSB, Valentin, and Sonny. However, some fans think it might be Alex Merrick (Hughes) targeting Anna. We do like that theory and think it’s definitely possible. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal her body wasn’t found.

    That means Alex has to be alive, and she would certainly have a lot of motive to ruin Anna’s life. They fought last we saw Alex and Anna basically sat there and watched Peter August (Wes Ramsey) die instead of calling for help. So, she could have been planning something for a while. And maybe not alone.
