‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For August 14: Opening up
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Olivia confides in Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). We assume he’ll want some more details about what exactly led to everyone getting brought into the PCPD.
Which could lead Olivia to talk about how Ned Quartermaine/Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) was hitting on her friend. In the promo, Dante asks her, “Are you going to give up on Ned?” We can see where her fear of Ned/Eddie moving on like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) did partly coming true could make her rethink things.
However, Eddie did defend her against Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). So, we can also see where that might still give her hope despite it all.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For August 14: Finally
Elsewhere, Sonny lays a trap. We’re looking forward to seeing what he has in store for Mason, Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini), and whoever their boss is. It took a minute, but Sonny finally get involved and he’s going to have a change in plans in store we’re sure his adversaries aren’t counting on.

In other ‘General Hospital’ spoilers, Carly debriefs Josslyn. Again, this is probably more bar fight fallout following Carly calling Joss to sign her out of the PCPD. The talk will, of course, turn to Sonny. At some point, Carly will tell Joss, “If he loses power, we’re no longer safe.” And we can’t. Joss is a college student on the med school track.
She grew up in Sonny’s world. How is she this dense? We think the only simpler way for Carly to explain the situation is, “Sonny went bye-bye before. I almost went boom.” Maybe that will get the message across. Either that, or some intense therapy to get over her Sonny hate so she can face reality.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For August 14: Denial?
Finally, it seems Anna is dismissive in the wake of her house going up in smoke. Sounds like someone else needs to start waking up here. We assume the incident leads to a debate between Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) about what happened. She’ll tell him, “Then someone out there wants me to pay for what I did.”
