‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has just gained a wealth of information that can destroy Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) relationship with his wife, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). The question is, what does he plan to do with the information that he has?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Right Place, Right Time
GH’s Cyrus Renault is not very well liked in Port Charles. Many people think he should not be out of jail. They don’t trust that he has found faith and turned over a new leaf. They think that he is dangerous. Sonny Corinthos really believes this and is doing all he can to keep his eye on Cyrus.
Cyrus is jealous of Sonny and the way that he can keep his status in Port Charles as a “hero” even as he dabbles in illegal enterprises. He also doesn’t like the way that Sonny has a connection with his sister, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis). He wants to destroy Sonny and make him pay.
Cyrus was supposed to be in the live nativity at the park, but Sonny didn’t want him to be in it with his daughters. Laura replaced Cyrus with their brother, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).
As a result, Cyrus wasn’t busy and was in the right place at the right time to overhear Nina talking to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), begging for his help to deal with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Rather Fortuitous
Since it is Christmas Eve, Sonny’s family heads to the church for prayers. While she is there, Nina is overcome and wants to confess. She thinks the priest has gone into the confessional, but it is really Cyrus Renault.
He hears her confession and gets to know all her secrets. He then suggests that she confess it all to those she hurt.
Nina is a little overwhelmed by the suggestion but thinks that it would be good to get free from the burden of this secret. She decides to go and talk to GH’s Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) first and she gets close, but she still doesn’t tell her the whole truth.
She asks for forgiveness, but not for the main secret. Carly throws it back in her face, so Nina is keeping it to herself after all.
The question is, what is Cyrus going to do? He said that if Nina doesn’t tell everyone, maybe he should. How will he use this information to destroy Sonny? Will he be able to do that? What do you think?
