Repeatedly lying to the woman he supposedly cares about and not being a responsible parent are a few of the ways that Valentin is epically failing. Is he finally going to straight things out?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Keeping Things Secret from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)
Someone has been after Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for a while. First, the word “Murderer” was spray painted on her door. Then there was a shooting at the Metro Court pool, and she could have been the intended target. Then her house was set on fire. Finally, the room she was staying in at the Metro Court was vandalized and her things were ruined.
Now it is clear that the shots at the Metro Court were warning shots, and that warning was probably meant for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Pikeman is in bed with the WSB, and Pikeman has jobs it is demanding that Sonny do for them. The shots with a gun from the WSB were probably a warning.
Valentin has been a cause of concern for Anna for a while because he has told her some lies. He has a connection to Pikeman. He told her once that he was the ELQ, and the security footage showed that he never went there. Some of his stories aren’t adding up.
The biggest falsehood has come after finding that his own daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (AnaSofia Bianchi) was probably responsible for the vandalism. When Anna asked what the security footage showed, he lied, saying it was erased. He didn’t say he’d talk with her about it later but just blatantly lied.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dumping His Daughter Off
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) saw this footage with him. He begged her to keep it a secret and then he demanded she erase it. It’s not clear yet if she did, but she did agree to have Charlotte stay with her for the night.
Instead of confronting Charlotte about what they saw, he just avoids it all together. He doesn’t challenge her or ask her why she did what she did. He tells Nina that he has no idea how to handle this.
Obviously, his daughter is responsible for something sinister that hurt Anna, but he is just going to bury it? What damage will that cause? The situation only has the potential to get worse. Why is Valentin acting this way? Is he really so spineless or is he heartless?
