‘General Hospital’ Spoilers suggest that time is running out for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). She’s been trying to keep her big mistake under wraps, but it is all beginning to unravel.
Her lawyer, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) may be right. It may be time to come clean and cut her losses, whatever they might be. Can she do that at this point though?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Terrible Lapse
In a terrible lapse of judgment, GH’s Nina decided to turn Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) into the SEC for insider trading.
Because of her actions, Drew ended up doing prison time and was beaten in Pentonville Penitentiary within an inch of his life.
Everyone suspected Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) of calling in the tip because he had threatened to do so. But Nina was the one who did it. When Ned lost his memory because of a fall at the Metro Court pool, Nina felt that she’d lucked out.
Nina has been living in fear that someone would find out. The thing she fears the most is permanently damaging her relationship with her new husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and losing ground with her daughter, GH’s Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). Those relationships are most important to her but are also the most fragile.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Secret Is Getting Out There
The net is closing in around Nina. GH’s Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was able to confirm that Nina called in the tip to the SEC. Right now, he hasn’t told his father, but is blackmailing Nina.
While he really wants to say something and destroy Nina’s life, he sees how happy his father and Willow are and he doesn’t want to mess that up.
Even though Nina doesn’t know it yet, GH’s Ned also got his memory back. He has told his wife, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) that Nina called in the tip.
He wants to tell everyone and exonerate himself. Olivia stayed his hand for now, also pointing out that Sonny is happy, Drew is out of prison and there is a peace (of sorts) between Carly and Nina. Now is not the time to tell the world about Nina.
But clearly Nina’s time is running out. She should have listened to Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) a long time ago and admitted her error to Sonny and begged for his forgiveness.
Now things have gone so far that it will be hard for him to forgive and forget this. What do you think? Who is going to tell on Nina and shatter her world?
