‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for November 7th reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) offers some comfort. Meanwhile, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) gets good news. We’ll also see Laura Collins (Genie Francis) horrified by what went down on Halloween. Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Comfort
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny offers support to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in the wake of Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) shooting. As we expected, Anna won’t be dealing with this well.
In the promo, she tells Sonny, “If she doesn’t make it, it’s my fault.” Hopefully, Sonny will be able to talk her down some.
As someone who’s been the target of numerous plots (and had to defend himself against them), he’ll understand her actions and assure her she did nothing wrong.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: He’s back…
Elsewhere, Sam is overjoyed. General Hospital spoilers reveal this is because Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is a free man.
He’ll finally get around to visiting Sam, who’ll he’ll tell, “Now that I’m back, there’s so much I need to make up for.” Knowing how everyone’s been lately, she won’t even bat an eye at the fact he didn’t bother to call her last night to check in on their daughter/see her.
And Sam will likely tell him he has nothing to make up for. Which is a total lie, but it’s the way people handle Drew. And Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), for that matter.
While there are parts of the show and characters we love, the way they’re writing Sam to just get over the bad blood she had with Carly and not even get the slightest bit angry at Drew for essentially choosing to leave their daughter again gets to us.
She watched this child fall apart over losing her father again for a while, and that has not colored her view of either one at all. It feels off.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Bad news
Finally, it seems the word about Charlotte is spreading. In the promo, Laura tells Valentin, “Oh my God, no.” Obviously, she’s learned Charlotte is fighting for her life and why.
Valentin was clearly in a bad place last time and wasn’t fair to Anna at all. And we can sort of get that, as he was likely in the grip of shock at the time.
Hopefully, this encounter with Laura will lead to him getting some perspective and make him realize Anna’s an innocent in all this. Which should lead to that confrontation we saw in the weekly preview.
