‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for the week of April 24th reveal the wedding is on! There’s just one problem. It’s possible this wedding might not be the peaceful, fun thing Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) were hoping for. Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Wedding Bells
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Willow wanted to get married immediately in the wake of Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) disappearance. And it looks like they managed to put together quite the event, given the 24-hour notice!
The whole thing looks great. And it also appears Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is leading the ceremony while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) walks Willow down the aisle. But there are hints of trouble, despite Michael saying it’s the happiest day of his life.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Problem?
See, there’s a clip in the preview of Carly and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). They look like they’re having a moment alone, and neither one looks like they’re basking in the joy of the day. So, we assume they’re worrying about what comes next. And they really better worry, but not about Willow.
The preview gives the impression that the wedding could possibly be interrupted, which makes us feel like we’re actually in Salem, rather than Port Charles! But weddings here are starting to go as well as on their streaming counterpart, so we see one of two things spoiling the moment.
One, Carly is busted for Insider Trading at the ceremony. Or, someone Michael’s scheme against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) comes to light. Either one could elicit that look out of Sonny. But there’s one thing that makes us think it’s the former, rather than the latter.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) asks Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), “What did you do?” Her tone is surprisingly accusatory for someone who was egging Nina on not so long ago! But maybe she’ll realize that Nina’s timing leaves a lot to be desired.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Elsewhere
Most of the promo focuses on the wedding. However, it does look like we’ll see some Haunted Star-related stuff going on this week. We see Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) looking serious.
Plus, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is shown looking worried as well. Hopefully, we’ll get some kind of resolution to the hostage situation this week, but we’re sort of doubtful. There always seems to be a way to keep a plot going in this world, and we’re sure the writers have plenty of curveballs ahead.
