There’s new speculation that’ General Hospital’ star Steve Burton might be the next star to exit the hit ABC daytime television soap, following reports that his co-star Ingo Rademacher left because of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. While this is only pure rumor and speculation at this point, there are reports that suggest Steve might have already wrapped up his latest storyline as his character, Jason Morgan. Insiders even say that he’s already filmed his final scenes, just like Ingo has. Ingo’s last episode as his character, Jasper Jacks, will air on November 22nd.

After Steve Burton announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 after having contracted it from the workplace in September, Nancy Lee Grahn has been very vocal in calling on SAG-AFTRA to address the issue of working “on a set with unmasked, unvaccinated actors.”
She even tweeted the SAG-AFTRA presidential nominees, Fran Dresher and Matthew Modine, to address the issue. “I work on a set with unmasked, unvaccinated actors, because my union thus far @sagaftra has allowed this. Full stop.” This has prompted Ingo to express his own views on the matter so much so that some ‘General Hospital’ fans have even started a #FireIngo hashtag on Twitter.
What’s more, Nancy, who hasn’t seen eye-to-eye with Rademacher on several different issues these last few years, blasted the actor and was even the first to suggest that he was fired from the hit daytime television show.
She said, “The fellow actor, #IngoRademacher, is mercifully no longer a part of the #gh cast. Transphobia & misgendering are disgusting & should be unacceptable in any industry, including soaps/acting. I stand with my costar @cassandrajames_ & the trans community.”
