As many ‘General Hospital’ fans already know, Sam killed the controversial cult leader and as a result lost her freedom because of it. And while the streets of Port Charles might be a little less dangerous now that Shiloh is no longer around, that doesn’t mean Sam and Jason’s troubles are over. In fact, this is only the beginning for them. Sam is worried that everything she did in her past as a con-woman – including her run in with Shiloh’s father – is now catching up to her. She’s paying the price for her bad deeds. 2019 might have been bad but 2020 is about to get worse.

“Jason and Sam begin the year on an up note,” shares ‘General Hospital’ co-head writer Chris Van Etten in the latest Soap Opera Digest. “But the spectre of Shiloh will continue to loom large as his reach extends beyond the grave.”
With that said, there’s also a lot of speculation among ‘General Hospital’ fans that Shiloh Archer might not be in fact dead. There are even some viewers who are hoping that actor Coby Ryan McLaughlin might come back to reprise his controversial role. So far both General Hospital writers and even the actor himself have not made any comments about whether or not Shiloh will return to the canvas. But as even fans know, you are not really dead in Port Charles, even if that last nail is hammered into the coffin. Is Shiloh lurking somewhere in Port Charles? Does he have a comeback plan? Maybe. Needless to says, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next.
