‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers show that it has been a long 26 years. Rena Sofer is coming back to General Hospital as Lois Cerullo. She originated the role back in 1993. Fans remember Lois for her thick Brook Lynn accent and impressively long nails.
She will reunite with her ex-husband, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), and the two share a daughter from their previous marriage, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Wally Kurth and Rena Sofer were also married from 1995 to 1997. They have a daughter named Rosabel Rosalind Kurth.
These days, Ned thinks he is Eddie Maine. He is more interested in rock ‘n roll than his family or any Quartermaine drama, including Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) incessant pleas for him to be her son again.

Fans have been clamoring to see scenes with Kurth and Sofer and wonder if Lois’s resurgence on the canvas will spell trouble for Ned’s marriage.
Longtime fans know about Ned and Lois’s fascinating relationship. Ned and Lois met at a club when “Eddie Maine” was performing. Their eyes met, and that was it.
The two started dating in secret and eventually got married. However, Ned was blackmailed to marry Katharine Bell (Mary Beth Evans). When Lois found out about Ned’s betrayal, she was furious.
At Katharine’s birthday party, she jumped out of the cake and said, “Happy Birthday Mrs. Ned Ashton from the other Mrs. Ned Ashton!” She handed Katharine their marriage certificate, and all bets were off.
She outed Ned as rock n’ roller Eddie Maine. Katharine and Ned got divorced. Lois and Ned eventually reunited after a lot of begging, groveling, and persistent persuasion on Ned’s part, and the two of them finally got back together.
Years later, when the two of them were struggling as a couple due to Ned’s obsession with ELQ and his career, Lois made him choose between her and the family business, and he chose the business.
Lois returned to Brooklyn and gave birth to her and Ned’s daughter, Brook Lynn.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn Needs Loving Parental Guidance
Now, Brook Lynn is in trouble because of her Grandmother, Tracy, blackmailing her. She lost her best friend, Maxie Jones (Kiersten Storms), and was fired from Deception. She is missing the one person to help her through this.
Cue a loving parent to guide her and bring her back to her roots. Ned can’t help her because he’s too busy with his guitar and music, but Lois may have some sound advice for her troubled daughter.
The question is what will happen when Eddie and Lois come face to face again. Will she be able to snap him back to reality, or will sparks fly, and the two of them remember how they fell in love all those years ago?
Maybe Eddie will think that the song he has been writing was about Lois all along, and he will finish it and perform it for her at the Savoy.
This return could end Ned and Olivia Falconari (Lisa LiCicero), but only time will tell. It will be interesting to see how Eddie and Lois’s relationship evolves.
