‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth), her husband’s alter ego, may indeed fall in love. What will that mean for Eddie? Through falling in love, will he remember who he really is?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Serious Accident
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) was having dinner with his wife, Olivia Quartermaine, when he overheard a secret. He heard Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), admitting that she was the one who tipped off the SEC on illegal insider trading by Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Matthison).
When he heard this, he rushed to tell Drew the news about who made the tip. He was being blamed, and now that he knew who the real culprit was, he wanted to spill it. He didn’t spill the news, but he did take a spill at the Metro Court pool courtyard.
In his rush to reach Drew at the poolside, he wasn’t careful, and tripped on some towels. He hit his head and went into the water. Drew jumped in to get him out and then did CPR. When Ned came to, he wasn’t himself. He believes that he is Eddie Maine, musician.
Eddie Maine was Ned’s stage name just for performances, but now Eddie doesn’t remember a thing about Ned. He doesn’t remember his family, which is really difficult for them.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Revelation
Olivia has had an important revelation. She was begging Eddie to remember that he was Ned. The badgering became too much for him. His mother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), even thought that they should have him committed. Overhearing this scared him, and he wanted to take off.
Olivia has had the revelation that she needs to just accept that for now, Ned IS Eddie. Eddie doesn’t remember her, so he is asking lots of questions about her background and experiences. It feels like it is a new relationship. While that is hard for her, she can see that they are making a connection.
Eddie also seems to be connecting with her more positively. He is attracted to her when she is not bugging him about really being Ned. If he falls for her, will that be THE thing that brings Ned back? What do you think?
